Have had the opportunity to direct a bit in my career and I must say that I love it. It's so gratifying to work with actors and watch them grow into a role and tell the story. For the last month I've been directing the A.R. Gurney play The Fourth Wall for Adirondack Stage Rats. What a joy it has been. The play, so perfect for our time of political strife, as it's a smart comedy filled with silliness, music and some driving political themes remind us to act. I'm auditioning a lot. Still a bridesmaid waiting for the right role/play/opportunity to marry. It will happen. And then, I had the great pleasure of going to HAWAII the last week of January. Certainly needed to the getaway to renew my spirit and thrill at the wonder of Mother Nature. Be sure and take time to stop and remember all of the good things in your life. It's important.
